The Good Morning Britain star shares her daughter Darcey, and 16-year-old William with her late husband Derek Draper, who died in 2024.Love Island is currently airing its 13th season on ITV2. On it, contestants live in a villa in Majorca and spend days in bikinis and swim trunks while they get to know each other.There are also challenges, including the Heart Rate challenge, where contestants give each other lap dances in an attempt to raise their heart rate the highest.But rather than be put off by the risque nature of the show, Kate has said she'd let her daughter do it. She told Digital Spy: "I would let Darcey do Love Island, yeah, but she says she will never do it!"But the clothing choices were snag in Kate's own plans for the show. She added: "I'd love to do Love Island, but I'm not really bikini ready!" And there's another reason she wouldn't do it - Kate has already found love.The former Celebrity Traitors star has struck up a romance with economist Liam Halligan. Back in May, she was seen supporting him at a charity cycling event. Just after, she told the Mirror at Chelsea Flower show that the romance "is lovely".She admitted that they've barely had much time together, and she was keen to keep tight lipped for fear of "jinxing" anything. She said: "We basically haven’t really had time for a proper date! I don’t want to jinx it! I don’t want to say anything because I will jinx it! I will jinx it. We all love an Irishman don’t we?"When asked if she and Liam had plans to set up some "proper dates," she admitted that Liam had been asking her the very same question."He says to me, 'Now we're in the papers, is there are a chance we can actually have some dates?' But my mum and dad have not been very well so I’ve been really consumed by that.Article continues below"It’s been tricky and I’ve just been doing that this weekend. My dad was supposed to be with me actually [at Chelsea] but he’s not well enough. I’m very lucky to have both of them and I know it’s normal [part of ageing]."She agreed that her romance was a bit of light relief: "Yes. It’s lovely. And it’s lovely to have you all caring!" Liam was reportedly friendly with Kate's husband Derek.
