MANILA, Philippines — The serial number of the .38-caliber revolver allegedly used by the 15-year-old suspect in the fatal shooting at a Tacloban City high school was traced to another gun in Bohol, according to the Philippine National Police (PNP).
“Through the serial number, it was traced to a security agency in Cebu,” PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. told reporters in a chance interview in Camp Crame on Wednesday.
“When they were asked about the actual presence or where the gun was, it was traced in another province but not in Tacloban. [It was] in Bohol,” added Nartatez partly in Filipino.
