This week, Britain looked on as its sixth Prime Minister in 10 years bid farewell to Downing Street. Standing outside No 10, Sir Keir Starmer listed his achievements. Chief among them were renters’ and workers’ rights, and, crucially, falling immigration numbers.

As Starmer reeled off his staccato sentences, anti-Brexit activist Steve Bray blasted “Ode to Joy” so loud it almost drowned out the outgoing Prime Minister. Antisocial, rude and, honestly, quite annoying – Bray’s behaviour is rather symbolic this week.
