Dubai attracted Dh32.4bn ($8.82bn) in greenfield FDI in 2025, delivering nearly 39,000 jobs and underscoring resilience amid geopolitical headwinds.

The emirate secured 1,253 greenfield projects, up 10.5% year on year, accounting for 7% of global project count and a record global share.

Project numbers surpassed 2024’s 1,117, though 2024’s value was higher at Dh52.3bn ($14.22bn), reflecting shifting deal sizes.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, said the city ranked No 1 in sectors including manufacturing and artificial intelligence.
