Nigerian-American actress and television host, Osas Ighodaro, has secured a lead role in the upcoming Nolly-Bollywood micro-drama series, Imported Bahu.
The project, officially unveiled on Monday by executive producer, Hamisha Daryani Ahuja, features Ighodaro alongside Bollywood actor and model, Rajniesh Duggall, in a storyline centred on love, family secrets and a cross-cultural romance.
Announcing the production via Instagram on Monday, Ahuja described Imported Bahu as the first vertical micro-drama series from her production company, Forever 7 Entertainment.
“For months, we’ve been keeping a secret. Today, we’re finally sharing it. Introducing Imported Bahu — Forever 7 Entertainment’s first vertical micro-drama series. A story of love, family, secrets, and one Imported Bahu who turns everything upside down,” she wrote.
According to the trailer, the story centres on Bahu Mehra, son of a wealthy Indian family who travelled abroad.
