Nigerian-American actress and television host Osas Ighodaro has secured a lead role in the upcoming Nolly-Bollywood micro-drama series, Imported Bahu.
The project, which was officially unveiled on Monday by executive producer Hamisha Daryani Ahuja, will see Ighodaro star alongside Bollywood actor and model Rajniesh Duggall in a story centred on love, family secrets and a cross-cultural romance.
Announcing the production via Instagram, Ahuja described Imported Bahu as the first vertical micro-drama series from her production company, Forever 7 Entertainment.
“For months, we’ve been keeping a secret. Today, we’re finally sharing it,” she wrote. “Introducing Imported Bahu — Forever 7 Entertainment’s first vertical micro-drama series. A story of love, family, secrets, and one Imported Bahu who turns everything upside down.”
