Ryanair passengers have been left baffled after one traveller claims to have found the budget airlines 'secret business class' row that has 'extra features' that other seats lack15:12, 23 Jun 2026Passengers on Ryanair flights claim to have found the airline's 'secret' business class row with extra features that many don't know about. If you've ever flown on a flight with Ryanair, you'll be well aware that the airline has chosen not to include a lot of various amenities you might otherwise expect to have on flights in order to keep their fares as cheap as possible.‌This often includes less leg room so more seats can be fit into the plane, as well as having to pay extra to pick your seats or to bring extra luggage on board. But despite this, several passengers still ask the airline on a regular basis if they could include more services to make their flights more comfortable.‌In response, the company often takes to social media to tease 'upgrades' or premium services, before revealing they actually have no real intentions of making them real.‌But in a recent video, the airline shared a video from a recent passenger, who claimed that a specific row on Ryanair flights was actually a 'secret business class' row, claiming it comes with an extra feature that other seats lack."Everyone knows row 29 is the only Ryanair seat that comes with its own plug socket," the woman said in her video, as she goes on to plug her charger into the socket located behind the tray for her seat.Content cannot be displayed without consent‌However, the airline decided to go on with the joke, as viewers of the video pointed out the socket in question looked a lot 'like a sticker'.Making their own video in response, they said: "It's our business class, there's a fountain too," as they added an edited a large fountain into a photo of people sitting in their seats on a flight.Does Ryanair have plug sockets on its flights? No, Ryanair planes do not have plug sockets in their seats for passengers to use, or any other on-board charging facilities, such as USB ports. This is because their fleet is strictly configured for budget travel.‌Instead, the airline urges passengers to charge all devices they plan on using on the flight before boarding. You can also bring power banks and spare lithium batteries in your cabin luggage to help charge your devices throughout the flight. But bare in mind that all batteries and power banks brought on board the flight must not exceed a maximum capacity of 100Wh. Passengers must also keep power banks on their person, or in a small personal bag stored under the seat in front of you. However, despite the statement not being true, some viewers were still convinced the first video was real, as one person commented: "No way I was in row 29 and didn’t check."Article continues below"I was in row 29 twice last week, top tier," a second viewer said, while a third commented: "Well done first time in history when Ryan air listens to us."However, someone else was also quick to point out: "Is a flipping sticker."Despite this, some passengers were also quick to recommend other rows that could be considered the airline's 'business class', as one user shared: "Row 36 has extra leg room and you get friendly and helpful staff."
