The incident occurred last Tuesday, 16 June, while the ship was travelling through the Sound of Mull.Police Scotland confirmed it received reports of a man’s body having been found in the water near Corran Esplanade in Oban at approximately 8.30pm.Hebridean Island Cruises, which operates the vessel, said an “immediate response” was initiated on board and HM Coastguard was notified.
