South Africa 2026 aired earlier this year, the 79-year-old revealed he had been diagnosed with hearing loss and has since started using hearing aids.‌While Harry was unaware there was a problem, his long-term wife Sandra noticed he was struggling to hear certain things and encouraged him to get his hearing checked.‌Speaking exclusively to us at Shoreditch's Ruffians Barber Shop for World Cuts, a football-inspired activation from Viagogo and Ruffian, he revealed he regularly forgets to wear his hearing aids, though insisted all was well.‌"I've come out to go into London and I've left my hearing aids at home," he said during our chat."Yeah, I haven't had them in lately, it's so stupid ain't it. I had them on charge and came out without them," he laughed.‌"I'm okay without them, yeah, I can survive, I'm not too bad."Recalling the diagnosis taking him by surprise, he added: "I didn't even think I had a problem until I went for a hearing test and then they said, 'Oh you're a way down', so that's why I got them really."The former West Ham United manager has previously described his hearing issues as "dangerous", citing incidents such as accidentally leaving his indicators on while driving.‌Speaking alongside his wife Sandra on This Morning earlier this year, he admitted: "It could've caused accidents."His spouse chimed in: "He used to say I was whispering when I wasn't whispering. Then, if we went out for dinner and there was a group of people, I could sense that he wasn't hearing the conversation or joining in."Speaking about his overall health, he added to us: "Yeah touch wood, we're all good!"‌Approaching his 80th birthday next year, the former says he has no plans to slow down."I like to keep busy, waking up to something to do everyday is good," he shared, while revealing his schedule remains as busy as ever.Article continues belowHowever, one thing that is not on the list is another reality show. Harry reached the final of the latest series of I'm A Celebrity... South Africa, which was ultimately won by Adam Thomas.Addressing the feud between the Waterloo Road actor and his fellow campmates David Haye and Jimmy Bullard, the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! winner said it "all got blown up a bit" and suggested there was "banter" on both sides.Speaking about reality shows more broadly, he added: "I've had enough of them now. It was good fun but no I was asked to do Strictly years ago and I didn't want to do it really."
