The presenter 47, first found cancer symptoms while on the popular ITV contest and confirmed her bowel cancer diagnosis in 2021.‌The star had chemotherapy and an operation to remove the tumour, with a stoma bag being fitted in 2022. That same year, she was able to share the great news that she was cancer-free.‌And she has continued to update fans on her condition since. Now, after completing a fitness challenge in which she raised money for cancer research, the star has revealed she had an issue with her stoma.‌Sharing an update on Instagram, Adele said: "Audrey, (my stoma) prolapsed again, been up all night holding my intestine in. Tummy is sore but at least my stoma is staying in my body for now.”“That’s the effect of the pressure put on my stoma by bowel prep and a colonoscopy. It forces my intestine out of my stomach wall.”‌Back in November, Adele revealed she had to have a "concerning lump" removed that she found in her neck. It appeared four years after being diagnosed with bowel cancer and fitted with a stoma bag.She took to Instagram at the time took to share snaps of her in a hospital gown after she had the lump removed. She revealed that she was "absolutely buzzing" as the lump turned out to be benign. However, she admitted the situation had been "worrying" her.She captioned the update: "Thank you NHS. What a week so far - it's only Wednesday and I've already had a camera up my bum, an enema (that I thought would NEVER END) and some test results that I've been worried about since summer.‌"Thank you to everyone who's been sending me messages recently (noticing my array of plasters and patches)."She added: "I didn't want to say as it's something I've been worrying about... but at the start of summer I got a concerning lump on my neck... which wouldn't go away and then it grew into a bit of a monster. Nobody knew what it was and it wasn't responding to treatment so I had to have it looked at by a specialist and removed."With my recent health troubles and knowing you can never take anything for granted... it has been playing on my mind."‌Adele previously revealed how her chemotherapy treatment affected her. She told the Monday Mile podcast: “Chemotherapy is different with every single person. And with me, it really affected my skin. So it took my fingerprints off."I couldn’t use my fingers, I couldn’t use touch screens, I couldn’t use my phone, self-checkouts, things like that. It really damaged the bottom of my feet – it looked like they’d been burnt or something like that.“It also turned my tongue black.
