Finland's parliament has approved a wide-ranging overhaul of the country's alcohol legislation, paving the way for home delivery services, expanded online sales and Sunday opening hours at state alcohol retailer Alko.
Lawmakers backed the reform on Tuesday by 98 votes to 77 after months of political debate over how far Finland should liberalise alcohol sales.
The changes mark one of the most significant updates to alcohol regulations in recent years and affect consumers, retailers and restaurants across the country.
