The Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, which represents the state as the shareholder of JSC Ukrposhta, has not yet received official documents from the National Bank of Ukraine requesting the dismissal of CEO Ihor Smilianskyi. The Ministry said it will assess the situation only after reviewing the case.
This was reported to Ukrinform by the Ministry’s press service.
“The Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine is awaiting an official letter and other documents from the National Bank of Ukraine regarding this decision. Once the relevant documentation is received, the Ministry will thoroughly process it and examine all the circumstances that led to the NBU’s decision,” the response stated.
The Ministry promised to provide detailed comments and assessments only after reviewing the official materials.
