As global tensions rise, Doval calls for stronger cooperation at BRICS summit
At the 16th BRICS National Security Advisors’ meeting in New Delhi, Indian NSA Ajit Doval hosted counterparts from China, Iran and Brazil to discuss escalating global security challenges. Doval warned that rising military conflicts and disruptive technologies are outpacing struggling multilateral institutions. Highlighting the bloc's growing influence, he also expressed optimism over the recent U.S.-Iran agreement, noting that reopening the Strait of Hormuz will boost energy security and ease global supply chain bottlenecks.
