Heavy to very heavy rain is on the way for much of Bangladesh, with the north and south-east facing the biggest soaking.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department's morning bulletin says light to moderate rain or thundershowers with gusty winds and lightning are likely across much of Rangpur, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, with some parts of Rajshahi and Dhaka also catching spells.
