The Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) has warned of temporary flooding in the low-lying riverside areas of several districts following forecasts of heavy rain.
FFWC Assistant Engineer Emon Kalyan Das told bdnews24.com on Thursday afternoon, “There is a possibility of heavy rain in Sylhet, Mymensingh and the upper sections of the northern region after the next 24 hours. This may continue for three to four days.
