The airline confirmed that two tyres on a Boeing 737-8 aircraft operating Flight SQ114 from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur on June 21 deflated after landing at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, The Straits Times reported.
The aircraft was subsequently towed to a remote parking area, requiring all passengers and crew members to disembark and be transported by bus to the airport terminal, AsiaOne reported.

The airline then deployed a replacement aircraft from Singapore to operate the return service and provided refreshments and assistance to affected travelers, including help with rebooking onward connections where necessary.
An aircraft tyre can burst during landing for several reasons, including a hard touchdown that places excessive stress on the wheels. Other potential causes include normal wear and tear, improper tyre pressure, or damage caused by foreign objects and debris on the runway.
