Kenyan-born rapper KayCyy signs with ASAP Rocky’s AWGE collective
Kenyan-born, US-based rapper KayCyy has secured a major career milestone after officially joining A$AP Rocky’s AWGE label, a move that signals a significant step in his rising influence within global hip-hop.
AWGE confirmed the signing on Monday, June 22, 2026, stating: “A$AP Rocky signs Kenyan artist KayCyy to AWGE.”
The deal was sealed in Houston, Texas, where A$AP Rocky personally welcomed KayCyy into the AWGE collective, in the presence of members of the creative group.
The partnership comes after their recent collaboration on Rocky’s 2025 track “pray4dagang,” which helped heighten anticipation for the rapper’s upcoming album.
