Jazz icon Madala Kunene is looking forward to taking to the stage at the eThekwini Jazz Jam at the Bean Bag Jazz Lounge in Morningside, Durban, on June 27. The event forms part of the build-up to the Hollywoodbets Durban July and will feature some of the city's finest jazz talent.
Jazz legend Madala Kunene says his passion for performing and entertaining audiences remains as strong as ever, despite decades in the music industry.
The acclaimed guitarist and songwriter will be among the headline acts at the eThekwini Jazz Jam, set to take place at the Bean Bag Jazz Lounge in Morningside on June 28.
Organised by Phambili Media in partnership with Durban Tourism, the event aims to welcome visitors arriving in the city ahead of the Hollywoodbets Durban July weekend while showcasing some of Durban’s finest jazz talent.
Speaking about his participation in the event, Kunene said he remains committed to supporting initiatives that bring people together and celebrate local culture.
