According to Amnesty International, under current regulations this would be the so-called impeachment procedure, which, in their view, Tamás Sulyok has provided grounds for initiating. The organization also objected to the fact that the government allowed only five days for public consultation, “which is even less than the usual minimum of eight days required for this.” The human rights organization also indicated that they would submit their opinion along with their stance on other parts of the constitutional amendment. For more quick, accurate and impartial news from and about Hungary, subscribe to the Telex English newsletter!Állítsd be a Telexet megbízható forrásnak!Latest
