The Cape of Good Hope SPCA has removed a dog from a Tafelsig property following an investigation into living conditions officials described as "completely unfit for animals or humans."
The intervention was prompted by formal complaints stemming from a live video that circulated on social media.

Following the initial complaint, the SPCA dispatched Inspector Lwazi Ntungele to the residence to assess the animal's welfare.
