Of the total number of UAVs purchased by the State Rear Operator Defense Procurement Agency for the Defense Forces, 95% are of Ukrainian production.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated this on its website, according to Ukrinform.
As noted by the Defense Ministry, last year purchases of unmanned systems for the first time exceeded purchases of ammunition, and this trend continues.
The launch of the DOT-Chain Defence weapons marketplace played an important role in developing the Ukrainian drone market. The system created a market model in which procurement decisions are made by the direct users - military personnel from combat brigades.
In particular, this strengthened competition among manufacturers, created incentives to improve service and refine products, and gave manufacturers the ability to forecast demand and scale production.
