The Alliance Parliamentary Summit will take place in Istanbul on June 28-29, on the eve of the NATO Summit in Ankara. It will bring together parliamentary speakers and heads of delegations from NATO allied countries.
According to Ukrinform, CNN Turk stated this in an article.
"Speakers of parliament and heads of delegations from 32 NATO allied countries will gather in Istanbul. Participation is also expected from the President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Markus Perestrello, members of the presidium, and other senior officials of the organization," the TV channel reports.
The meeting of the speakers of NATO countries' parliaments will take place on June 29 at Dolmabahce Palace. It is expected that the speakers of parliaments and heads of delegations from Alliance member states will speak at the meeting. In addition, participants in the summit will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during an official lunch, where he will deliver a speech.
