The development ministry has established a working group tasked with incorporating new EU Directive 2025/2647 into Greek legislation. The directive reshapes the framework for alternative consumer dispute resolution following the discontinuation of the European Online Dispute Resolution platform.
According to the decision signed by General Secretary Napoleon Maravegias, the working group will prepare a legislative proposal aimed at aligning Greek legislation with the new European provisions governing both the handling of disputes between consumers and businesses and the necessary amendments to the existing consumer protection framework.
