Business leaders across Australia are experiencing heightened concerns around inflation, which is driving pressure on business margins. Recent data indicates inflationary pressures are more likely to be carried by industry than passed on to customers. In response, almost a third of businesses plan to renegotiate supply contracts (31%) and approximately one in five plan to source new local suppliers (21%) or new foreign suppliers (19%).
