Jun 23, 2026 – 5.00amA new investigation by Allens has found KPMG partners twice accessed pitch documents submitted by EY and PwC to the Lendlease board, confirming the most serious claims made by a former employee who alleged the firm’s auditors had repeatedly misused confidential files.The findings, which have not previously been reported, raise new questions about the evidence given to a parliamentary inquiry by KPMG chairman Martin Sheppard, who said that only “three instances” of misuse had been uncovered.
