State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam has called for “sincere support” from Turkey and the international community for the early repatriation of Rohingya refugees to Myanmar.
She made the appeal during a meeting with visiting Turkish Red Crescent President Fatma Meriç Yılmaz at the foreign ministry on Monday, according to a media statement.
She also pushes for greater investment in conflict prevention and stronger humanitarian coordination
