Insider Brief
Fixstars Amplify has added IonQ’s quantum simulator as a standard machine within its cloud-based optimization platform, enabling users to develop and test quantum optimization algorithms.
Amplify users can access the IonQ simulator at no additional cost, while access to IonQ’s quantum hardware is planned as a future paid offering.
The integration allows developers to use the Amplify SDK and Amplify Quantum tools to run quantum optimization workloads on IonQ’s trapped-ion quantum computing platform.
PRESS RELEASE — Fixstars Amplify Corporation (President and CEO: Yoshiki Matsuda) is pleased to announce the addition of the IonQ quantum simulator, provided by IonQ, Inc. (hereinafter “IonQ”), as a standard machine for its optimization cloud service “Fixstars Amplify” (hereinafter “Amplify”). This partnership enables users to research and develop quantum optimization algorithms using both the actual quantum computers and simulators provided by IonQ through Amplify’s cloud environment. The simulator is available at no extra cost for Amplify account owners starting today, and access to the actual hardware is scheduled to be offered as a paid plan in the future.
