Jersey Telecom switches on first two 5G sites with coverage across island set to roll out in phases over next four months
JT Group, the owner of Jersey Telecom, has activated the first two 5G sites in Guernsey, as it begins a roll-out of coverage across the island.
The two 5G sites were activated in and around St Peter Port, as part of a phased deployment across the island planned over the next four months.
The roll-out is part of a significant investment in mobile infrastructure across the Channel Islands, JT Group said.
