All children's camps in occupied Crimea closed until end of summer

Sergei Aksyonov, the Russian-installed puppet leader of occupied Crimea, has ordered the suspension of children's holiday bookings and admissions to summer camps from 22 June until 1 September 2026.

Quote from Aksyonov: "From 11:00 on 22 June until 1 September 2026, the Republic of Crimea will introduce a temporary suspension of the booking of places, the admission and accommodation of children and groups of children at children's holiday and health resorts located in the republic [occupied Crimea – ed.], as well as the booking of places, admission and accommodation of children and groups of children in other accommodation facilities for participation in various tourism-related and other events."

Details: Aksyonov called on the public to "treat the restrictions with understanding". "In the current circumstances, these measures are necessary to ensure public safety," he said.
