Suspected terrorists have abducted a resident, identified as Yusuf Bazamfare, and set ablaze a Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps outpost, a brothel, and one residential building during an attack in Kebbi State.

The attack occurred on Saturday night in the Tsamiya community in the Bagudo Local Government Area of the state.

The incident was confirmed in a statement issued on Sunday by the spokesperson of the Kebbi State Police Command, Bashir Usman.

The statement read, “The assailants invaded the area, fired sporadically, and set ablaze a makeshift checkpoint belonging to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, a local brothel, and the residence of one Sule Mai Goge. Following the incident, the Commissioner of Police in Kebbi State ordered the immediate deployment of additional security personnel to the area to strengthen security and safeguard lives and property.
