The company said it received an initial purchase order from Planck Dynamics for five NeuraWave systems, with delivery expected during 2026. Planck Dynamics is a portfolio company of NUNC Capital BV, a Netherlands-based defense technology investment firm.
The agreement also creates a framework for the possible deployment of up to 100 NeuraWave systems over time. QCI made clear that future orders beyond the initial five systems are not guaranteed and depend on Planck Dynamics reaching specified program milestones and other customary conditions.
Why Investors Are Watching the Deal
NeuraWave is designed for photonic reservoir computing, a type of AI computing architecture aimed at handling temporal AI and time-series workloads. In short, the system is built for data that changes over time, such as sensor feeds, signals, and real-time decision-making inputs.
That makes the defense angle notable. Planck Dynamics said it is working on AI applications for tactical operators, with a focus on low-power operation, low latency, and edge-native environments. Nathan Eskue, Managing Director of Planck Dynamics, said the company is building technology for “the extraordinary demands of NATO and allied forces worldwide.”
