Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in Visakhapatnam on Sunday.In the first incident, an 18-year-old youth was killed after he was allegedly hit by a speeding lorry near Auto Nagar in Gajuwaka. He died on the spot. Police shifted his body for post mortem, and registered a case.In another incident, a 35-year-old man died after being run over by an APSRTC city bus near NAD Junction. According to preliminary information, police said that the victim was attempting to cross the road when he came under the wheels of the bus. He sustained grievous injuries and died. Police are investigating the circumstances leading to the incident.Meanwhile, in a separate road accident at Sri Nagar under the Gajuwaka police station limits, a lorry allegedly rammed into the rear of another lorry. The driver of the vehicle that crashed, suffered serious injuries and was shifted to hospital for treatment.The accident caused traffic congestion in the area for some time.
