U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened Iran with new powerful strikes if Tehran fails to restrain the militant groups it supports in Lebanon.
The American leader made the statement on Truth Social, according to Ukrinform.
Trump said that Iran must immediately stop its well-funded proxy groups in Lebanon from causing trouble. He warned that if Tehran failed to do so, the United States would strike Iran again very hard, as it had done the previous week, only with even greater force.
The threats come amid ongoing negotiations between the United States and Iran in Switzerland, mediated by Qatar and Pakistan.
