The continued involvement of politicians in Poland and Ukraine in the dispute between the two countries is a "strategic mistake" that will leave both sides worse off.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated this in a post on X, according to Ukrinform.
Tusk said that further deepening of the conflict by politicians in Poland and Ukraine was a strategic mistake from which both sides would lose in business, geopolitical, and reputational terms. He added that, as the saying goes, in politics a mistake is worse than a crime. Tusk noted that in discussions with his European partners, he was trying to minimize the damage and reduce tensions, describing it as a difficult task.

As reported by Ukrinform, Polish President Karol Nawrocki decided on Friday evening to strip Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of the Order of the White Eagle. Commenting on the decision on Saturday, Nawrocki said that Poles understand war and the Russian threat, but stressed that "Poles have their own limit of patience, and that limit has been crossed."
