Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti state has described his re-election for a second term as a renewed call to service, pledging to govern with humility, compassion and the fear of God.
Oyebanji, who contested on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressed appreciation to the people of the state for the confidence reposed in him, saying the outcome of the governorship election had further strengthened his sense of responsibility to the electorate.
According to him, the victory was not a moment for celebration alone but a call to greater accountability and performance in office.
“I have a proper understanding of the responsibility that this victory has placed on my shoulders. It is a responsibility of service to the people of Ekiti state,” the governor said.
