Ekiti Governor, Biodun Oyebanji

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has thanked voters in the state following his re-election in the governorship poll, describing the outcome as a clear message from the people.

In a post on his X handle on Sunday, Oyebanji said the scale of his victory reflected a strong vote of confidence from Ekiti voters across the state.

“The voice of the people has reverberated from every part of our great state, and the message is clear,” he wrote.

The governor said he was “deeply humbled” by what he described as a clean sweep across all 16 local government areas, where he also claimed about 85 per cent of the popular vote.
