New Delhi: PWD minister Parvesh Sahib Singh said the Delhi government will carry out a special pot-hole repair drive on Sunday to improve road conditions.According to the Public Works Department (PWD) minister the target is to repair 2,000 identified potholes in a single day."Ahead of the monsoon, PWD will undertake a special city-wide drive tomorrow (June 21) to repair over 2,000 identified potholes across Delhi," Singh said in a post on X.When the rains arrive, Delhi's roads should be ready. Engineers and field teams have been directed to work with urgency so that roads remain safer and more comfortable for commuters, he added.Last year on June 24, PWD carried out a similar drive to repair 3,400 potholes across the city.The PWD earlier identified and geo-tagged all potholes on the across its 17 road divisions under its jurisdiction and uploaded the information on its website.
