A 52-year-old physically challenged resident of Ilawe-Ekiti, Ojo Adewusi, has described the ongoing governorship election in the community as peaceful and orderly.

Speaking in an interview on Saturday, Awolusi said the electoral process had so far been conducted in a calm atmosphere, with no reports of violence or disruption.

According to him, voters in the community have conducted themselves peacefully while exercising their civic responsibility.

“The election has been peaceful here in Ilawe-Ekiti. Everything is going on smoothly and there has been no violence or any form of disturbance,” he said.
