JSC Ukrposhta is suspending the operation of mobile branches in Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region for one day due to the security situation.

The Ministry for Communities and Territories Development stated this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

The company said that today, as a result of a Russian FPV drone attack in Nikopol, two postal operator vehicles were destroyed. The workers were in shelter during the air raid alert and were not injured.

It was noted that this is already the fourth Ukrposhta vehicle lost in Nikopol district over the past week because of shelling.

The company decided to suspend the operation of mobile branches in Nikopol district for one day for safety reasons. Alternative solutions and additional protective measures are currently being worked out.
