In southern Lebanon, five people were reported killed in a series of Israeli air and drone strikes, according to Lebanon's state-run National News Agency (NNA).
As cited by Aljazeera, three people died in a two-pronged raid on the village of Arab Salim, while one person was killed in a strike on the municipality of Deir ez-Zahrani. Another person was killed when an Israeli drone targeted a motorcycle at the eastern entrance to the village of Doueir.
The attacks were part of a broader wave of strikes that hit multiple towns and villages across southern Lebanon. Air raids reportedly destroyed homes in al-Numairiyah and leveled residential buildings in Kafr Goz. Additional strikes were reported in Kfar Reman, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Shukin, Habboush, Zebdin, Sajd and Mahmoudiyah, while an Israeli drone targeted the Rahbate neighbourhood in the city of Nabatieh and its outskirts.
