After Bafana Bafana’s gripping FIFA World Cup encounter with Czechia, South African sports fans can look forward to a blockbuster weekend as the Springboks, SA ‘A’ and Proteas Women return to action.
It is a blockbuster sporting weekend for South Africans, with the world champion Springboks and South Africa ‘A’ back in action as preparations for the 2026 international season gather momentum.
The national teams will kick-start their campaigns with invitational fixtures against the Barbarians and Zimbabwe, respectively, at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha today.
The SA ‘A’ side, featuring a blend of exciting Junior Springboks prospects and experienced campaigners, will get proceedings underway against Zimbabwe at midday.
