Leinster flyer Rieko Ioane goes over to score in the United Rugby Championship final against the Bulls.
Bulls captain Marcell Coetzee could do little other than praise Leinster and lament his team’s horrific error count in losing 36-7 in the United Rugby Championship final in Dublin.
“You can’t give Leinster a good start, and all our planning was about not letting that happen, but immediately there was a yellow card (to Canan Moodie), and the momentum was with them,” Coetzee admitted.
“You can’t have less than 15 men on the field against these guys, especially in the first quarter when they are famous for their fast starts. And they capitalised on our poor discipline.”
The gracious Bulls captain gave praise to the champions for the emphatic manner in which they defended their crown.
