Saudi relief agency trains over 1,000 vulnerable Gazans in vocational and digital skills
RIYADH: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) is continuing to implement training programs for vulnerable groups and persons with disabilities in Gaza under its Economic Empowerment Project, in partnership with the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The programs feature professional and digital training courses in graphic design, digital marketing, translation, freelancing, virtual assistance, and remote business management. Training is also being provided in men’s grooming, women’s beauty services, embroidery, sewing, and handicrafts.
The initiative aims to equip beneficiaries with practical skills and knowledge to improve their prospects in the job market.
Earlier this week, KSrelief launched the project’s first phase in Deir Al-Balah, central Gaza. The launch ceremony was attended by representatives of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), as well as several local and international organizations.
