Hormuz Traffic Still Well Below Prewar Levels

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) countered the PGSA’s statement, saying it would continue to support free navigation through Hormuz. CENTCOM added that over 20 vessels crossed through the passageway last night.

Still, traffic remains well below daily prewar levels of between 130 and 140 vessels. Many vessels are continuing to exercise caution due to the presence of mines and lingering security concerns.Disclaimer & DisclosureReport an Issue
