And with nary a golfer from the upstart tour within eight strokes of Round 2 leader Wyndham Clark at 7 under par, LIV’s no-good, very bad 2026 continued Friday.Bryson DeChambeau finished one stroke below the cutline after firing a 5-over-par 75 on Friday, meaning the two-time U.S. Open champion will miss the weekend of a major tournament for the third consecutive time after disappointing finishes at the Masters and PGA Championship. The YouTube sensation was joined by 2021 U.S. Open champion Jon Rahm, who went from sitting in the top 10 after the first round with a 2-under 68 to out of the tournament completely with a second-round 78.Dustin Johnson’s free fall was just as dramatic, as the two-time major winner dropped from second on the leaderboard after 18 holes to just above the 4-over cutline after a second-round 77 put him at 3 over after two days. A quadruple bogey on the par-4 15th hole had Johnson teetering at 4 over, but he managed to get on the green in two on the par-5 16th and two-putted for a birdie.
