Mohammad Mokhber, advisor and assistant to the former Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, reacted to recent developments in Lebanon and Israeli attacks on Hezbollah positions, declaring that the “division of roles regarding understanding and aggression” between the United States and Israel is a repetitive and unacceptable scenario.
In a message posted on the social media platform X with the hashtag “Dahiyeh,” Mokhber wrote: “Neither the American diplomatic smile is trustworthy, nor is Zionist savagery tolerable.” He further emphasized: “We will not hesitate with anyone when it comes to defending Lebanon, and we will teach the aggressors a lesson they will regret.
These remarks came shortly after the Israeli military announced that it had targeted more than 80 positions belonging to Hezbollah across various areas in Lebanon in response to what it called “ceasefire violations” by the group.
In a statement, the Israeli military said that during overnight strikes, command centers, launch positions, and other Hezbollah infrastructure were hit in the Nabatieh region and other parts of southern Lebanon, both inside and outside the security zone. The statement also claimed that dozens of Hezbollah members were killed during the operation.
