KZN Hawks boss, Maj-Gen. Lesetja Senona, has denied allegations that he stole the R200 million drugs at the Hawks offices in 2021.
KZN Hawks head, Maj-Gen. Lesetja Senona, has accused the Madlanga Commission of improper handling of allegations against him, arguing that the inquiry has treated him unfairly.
Returning to the commission on Friday for a second appearance, Senona said the testimony from the inquiry had taken a personal toll on him and his family, leaving him concerned about their safety.
He told the commission that the public scrutiny generated by the inquiry had left him feeling vulnerable.
“Ever since that day, I am not 100 percent well in terms of safety,” he said.
