KZN Hawks head, Maj-Gen. Lesetja Senona, is expected to return to the Madlanga Commission on Friday.
Remember Lesetja Senona? The KwaZulu-Natal Hawks boss who was in charge when cocaine worth an estimated R200 million vanished from a Hawks facility is back before the Madlanga Commission.
Senona is expected to testify for a second time on Friday as the commission investigates the 2021 theft of 541kg of confiscated cocaine from the Hawks' Port Shepstone offices.
His appearance comes after testimony from KZN Hawks commander Brig. Campbell Nyuswa, who told the commission that the drugs had been stored in a secure strong room and that Senona was given a set of keys to the facility.
Nyuswa admitted he was aware of security concerns at the Port Shepstone offices before the cocaine was stored there.
