Quantum Industry Canada announced that CEO Lisa Lambert will step down at the end of June, with Sean Lee appointed Acting CEO effective June 29, 2026.
Lambert will continue supporting the organization as a Strategic Advisor after leading QIC’s growth into a nationally recognized industry consortium since 2023.
Lee, currently Chief of Staff and Division Director of Communications & Engagement at TRIUMF, will lead QIC on an interim basis while the board conducts a search for a permanent CEO.
PRESS RELEASE — Quantum Industry Canada (QIC) announced today that Lisa Lambert, the organization’s inaugural Chief Executive Officer (CEO), will conclude her tenure with QIC at the end of June to pursue a new career opportunity, and that Sean Lee of TRIUMF will step in as Acting CEO on an interim basis effective June 29, 2026.
