Who’s News: Strategic Leadership Appointments at Diraq, IQM Quantum Computers, EigenQ, and BosonQ Psi
Diraq has announced the appointment of longtime semiconductor executive Scott A. McGregor as its new Chairman of the Board of Directors. McGregor—former CEO and President of Broadcom and Philips Semiconductors (now NXP), and lead developer of Microsoft Windows 1.0—brings vital CMOS technology scale-up experience to Diraq’s silicon-based quantum roadmap. He succeeds the Hon. William Jeffrey, who will remain on the board. The leadership transition coincides with Diraq’s accelerating U.S. expansion, supported by a recent Letter of Intent with the U.S. Department of Commerce for up to $38 million in proposed CHIPS Act funding.
